SevenSeas: CAAS - Cardholder Application

Introduction

After successfully modernizing the CAAS platform, Sevenseas transitioned to developing a Progressive Web Application (PWA) to provide users with a seamless, cross-platform experience across Android, iOS, and desktop devices.

Challenges

1. Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensuring the application was fully functional across Android and iOS devices, as well as desktop, providing a consistent experience for users regardless of their device.

2. Responsive Design: Creating a design that was flexible across different screen sizes and devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) while ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience on both Android and iOS.

Solution

• Developed a new PWA with a modern UI/UX design for seamless cross-device compatibility.

• Introduced key features such as:

  • Fingerprint authentication for Android and Face ID for iPhone

  • Ability to disable online payments from the app

  • Change card PIN

  • Enable/disable the card

  • Currency exchange functionality

  
  

My Role

• Scoped the MVP for the PWA, prioritized features, and gathered business requirements.

• Created user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.

• Facilitated agile sprints and coordinated a cross-functional team (2 front-end developers, 3 back-end developers, 1 designer, 2 Testers).

• Acted as the main point of communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
