Admod Optimization: Streamlining Workflows for MCN
Enhancing Integration, Usability, and Compliance
Role
Product Manager
Industry
Enterprise software

Introduction
The Admod platform, developed for MCN, was designed to facilitate efficient resource allocation, financial tracking, and operational workflows. However, its potential was underutilized due to a cumbersome user experience and lack of integration with other systems. This project aimed to transform Admod into a centralized, intuitive, and robust platform that streamlines workflows, eliminates redundancies, and improves staff adoption rates.
Challenges
System Integration Complexity: Merging Admod with existing tools such as HRMS and operational systems posed significant technical challenges, requiring careful planning to avoid disruptions.
Data Migration Risks: Ensuring the seamless transfer of existing user and financial data into the new system without data loss or errors was critical.
Real-Time Processing Implementation: Building real-time operational and financial processes while maintaining system performance and reliability involved architectural redesign and rigorous testing.
Compliance Challenges: Implementing the structural changes and new features while adhering to regional regulatory requirements, including UAE taxation laws and labor laws, demanded close collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
Maintaining Project Timeline: Coordinating across stakeholders, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery of iterative features required meticulous planning in a complex project environment.
Solution
A comprehensive transformation of the Admod platform addressed these challenges through the following initiatives:
Modernized User Interface:
Redesigned the platform with a clean, intuitive look and feel to reduce cognitive load.
Introduced intuitive colors and a tabbed system for easier navigation and sequential task completion.
Enhanced Features:
Real-time accounting and operational integration for seamless resource and financial tracking.
Multilingual support (English and Arabic) to cater to a diverse user base.
Advanced reporting tools for insights into billing, profitability, timesheets, and more.
Chat functionality and asset management to centralize communication and document storage.
Integrated Systems:
Automated data pre-population and integration with HRMS for improved efficiency.
APIs for seamless job, invoicing, and master data management.
Improved Accessibility:
Made the platform mobile-friendly and browser-agnostic, ensuring usability across devices and environments.
Enabled Single Sign-On (SSO) for enhanced security and user convenience.
Scalable Architecture:
Designed a flexible architecture to accommodate future needs, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
My Role
As the Product Manager for the Admod Optimization project, I was responsible for:
Discovery and Research: Conducted stakeholder interviews and contextual inquiries to identify user pain points and gather requirements.
Defining the Solution: Developed the scope of the MVP, prioritizing features to maximize business impact.
Requirement Documentation: Authored user stories and acceptance criteria to align development with user needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinated a team of designers, developers, and QA engineers to ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly communicated progress, managed expectations, and incorporated feedback.
