Contributed to the success of major Fintech, project management, financial reporting, and accounting software platforms with major clients in the EU and UAE such as SevenSeas and MCN (part of IPG).

Regularly traveled to meet clients, aligning on project requirements, scope, and objectives, which improved project alignment and client satisfaction.

Led the success of 3 major projects with Pearson, McGraw Hill, Cambridge for the UAE, KSA, and Qatar ministries of education by planning, time estimation, dealing with conflicting priorities, saving a $13M project from failure, and securing a 5-year relationship with the client.

Proactively planned and executed a remote work transition during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring uninterrupted project progress and maintaining team productivity through effective communication and resource management.

Managed and mentored 3 teams of 14 designers, assigned daily tasks, and ensured that production processes are followed, as documented in the project plan, resulting in a 30% increase in team efficiency.

Developed the hiring criteria and interview process for the design team and hired 20 designers.

Coordinated activities between different departments (Translation, Design, QA, and Software Developers) to ensure high-quality project delivery on time, improving cross-departmental collaboration.

Created designs and generated concepts for projects in Europe and the Arab World; Schindler Switzerland, Acid- KSA, -Oger France. 

Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources. 

Closely managed customers’ relationships and ensured their satisfaction. 

Followed-up with 3-years-abandoned error in a machine and saved 12000$ annually. 

Ended malpractices which saved wasted expenses. 

Redesigned lost database for 3 major foreign projects, negotiated and successfully convinced the prominent customer in adopting the new scheme. 

 

2011-2015: Graphic Designer 

The Daily Star: Lebanon’s leading English-language newspaper 

 

Saved time; by implementing automated Photoshop scripts. 

Took part of daily editorial meetings and set time-scale work with co-workers. 

Consistently met deadlines and received management’ and supervision heads’ recommendations for taking initiatives to improve work pace and quality.
